Hemp Heart & Sunflower Seed Crackers
Our Hemp Heart & Sunflower Seed Crackers are a healthy snack option.
Servings: 24 crackers
Ingredients:
1 cup Salvare Hemp Hearts
1/2 cup sunflower seeds
1/4 cup ground flaxseed
1/4 cup chia seeds
1/4 tsp sea salt
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp onion powder
1/2 cup water
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl, combine hemp hearts, sunflower seeds, ground flaxseed, chia seeds, sea salt, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix well.
Add water to the dry ingredients and mix until a thick dough forms. Let the mixture sit for 5 minutes to allow the chia seeds and flaxseed to absorb the water and thicken the dough.
Place the dough on the parchment-lined baking sheet. Place another piece of parchment paper on top of the dough and roll it out evenly to about 1/8 inch (3mm) thickness.
Remove the top layer of parchment paper and use a knife or a pizza cutter to score the dough into 24 equal-sized crackers.
Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the edges are golden brown and the crackers are crispy.
Remove from the oven and let the crackers cool completely before breaking them apart along the scored lines.
Store the crackers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week.
