Servings: 8
Ingredients
🥚 Hard-boiled Eggs: 12
💚 Salvare Hemp Hearts: 2 tablespoons (for garnish)
💚 Salvare Hemp Extract: 1 full dropper
🎃 Mayo: 1/2 cup
👻 Mustard: 1 tablespoon
🌈 Food coloring: multiple colors as desired
🧂 Your favorite seasonings: (e.g., salt, pepper, paprika) to taste
Instructions
Prepare the Eggs:
Begin by hard-boiling 12 eggs for about 10 minutes in boiling water.
Once cooked, gently crack the shell of each egg, ensuring you leave the majority of the shell intact.
Color the Eggs:
Transfer the cracked eggs into a sandwich baggie.
Add your desired food coloring into the bag. Remember, the more vibrant, the better!
Add a full dropper of Hemp Extract to the bag and gently mix to ensure the color and extract are evenly distributed.
Seal the bag and pop it in the fridge to chill for approximately 1.5 hours.
Prepare the Filling:
After the chilling time, remove the eggs from the fridge. Their cracks should now showcase fun, colorful lines!
Remove the shells from the eggs and discard.
Split the eggs in half "hot dog" style, and gently scoop out the yolks, placing them in a separate bowl.
To the yolks, add the 1/2 cup mayo, 1 tablespoon mustard, and your favorite seasonings. Mix until smooth and creamy.
Transfer the yolk mixture to a new sandwich baggie, pushing all the yolk to one corner, creating your DIY piping bag.
Assemble and Garnish:
Cut a small tip off the corner of your piping bag and fill each egg white half with the yolk mixture.
Get creative and decorate each egg with a spooky theme.
Finish by sprinkling each egg with hemp hearts.
Enjoy your spooktacular Hemp Deviled Eggs! 😋
Ghoulish Green Avocado Mix: Incorporate a ripe avocado into the yolk mixture. The green hue not only adds a ghoulish touch to the Halloween theme but also gives a creamy texture and provides additional nutrients. Mash the avocado until smooth and mix well with the yolk filling.
Experiment with Egg Patterns: Instead of simply cracking the eggshell, you can also use rubber bands wrapped around the eggs before dipping them in the colored water. Once the color sets and you remove the bands, you'll have cool, unpredictable patterns on the eggs.
